The Government is committed to positioning the island as a premier destination for sports tourism. Antigua and Barbuda already hosts several high profiled sporting events including international cricket, Sailing Regattas, Sports Fishing, Motor Racing as well as regional Golf tournaments. The promotion of Sports Tourism is particularly targeted at the traditional low season where visitor arrivals are not as robust.
