Antigua and Barbuda has a literate, well-educated, English-speaking labour force with a demonstrated  appreciation for  great customer service and visitor satisfaction.

The Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute provides training for the sector up to the Associate Degree level. 

The Antigua-based University of the West Indies’ Five Islands Campus offers advanced training in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Many citizens have also availed themselves of hospitality training through higher education in North America and the UK as well as via on-the job training on cruise ships and at  major hotel chains in the Metropole.
