The Construct Antigua and Barbuda Initiative (CAB-I) is a domestic economic stimulus program aimed at incentivizing homeownership and property enhancements.

Program Objectives
The CAB-I program was first operational in August 2011.
Its objective is to make homeownership and property improvements more affordable for citizens and residents of Antigua and Barbuda through a public-private partnership between the government and participating suppliers and service providers.
Program Benefits
Tax Exemptions
Exemption from the Antigua and Barbuda Sales Tax (ABST) at the point of purchase.
Reduced Rates
Access to reduced mortgage and insurance rates, as well as discounted legal and service fees with participating institutions.
Discounts
In-store discounts on construction materials and services, leading to savings of 15% to 20%
Eligibility
Citizens and Residents
The program is open to citizens and residents of Antigua and Barbuda.
Project Types
New Buildings
Projects not exceeding $500,000.
Renovations
Projects not exceeding $250,000.
Incomplete Residences
Projects not exceeding $500,000.
Expansion Projects
Projects not exceeding $200,000.
